We are just two girls that come from completely different backgrounds but have somehow stumbled across each other and experienced a real life “mom crush”. Currently, we both live in the coolest city in Europe, also known as Amsterdam, and love to explore and share with you guys all the tips and hot spots of this beautiful, metropolitan village. As my2to4 initially started with Nada’s two boys who are 2&4, together we evolved and actually made a transition from 2 to 4 kids and therefore gave our blog a whole new meaning. Being both moms of two, we will share our story from the perspective of a ‘Parisian chic’ and effortlessly fashionable Ukrainian mom Liliia, and a ‘down-to-earth dreamer’, corporate princess turned housewife mom from Croatia – Nada. We look forward to giving you a glimpse into our surprisingly strong soul-sister bond, while providing you with many anecdotes about motherhood, relationships, fashion, beauty and pretty much everything that plays a role in our lives.
How we see each other:
Liliia Ferreira is one of those moms that just look incredibly stylish and cool at all times. She is also one of the most authentic and honest women I have ever encountered and this has been the main reason I felt so at ease with her from day one. She speaks 5 languages, has impeccable intuition and loves her family more than words can describe. Her interests are anything related to fashion, photography, chocolate, wine and… well you can add the last two together 😉
Nada Mesqui is fun, love and beauty in one jar. I am fascinated by her charming smile; sometimes I just want to stare at her as at anything beautiful (I am straight but sometimes I regret it J). There are two more things I find amazing about Nada: she is able to easily drive a super heavy bike with her two kids who are not light as feathers either… and that she took a decision to leave a successful career in favor of her family. I always wanted to have one but never quite got there, so for me this is a very courageous step to say “no” to business environment with all its perks, do a ponytail and immerse herself into mom everyday routine. Nada loves dancing, goofing with her boys and, of course, she will never reject a girls night out!
Just another thing to underline… our blog is not about an ideal moms’world. Every one of us has her blues, doubts and struggles. Moving to another country implies the necessity to recreate a community, a village, around us in order to get support we all need so badly. Here we want to share our experiences and give you all of our unconditional support and a space where everyone gets to be wrong and/or right freely.
